Twenty one years ago, I arrived on this beautiful island and never wanted to leave. Majorca is an island paradise that once visited, creates a lifetime love affair with its spectacular coves and beaches, crystal clear Mediterranean waters, medieval villages and overall charm. Many people, like myself, choose to move here permanently, but many others simply return on holiday every year for the rest of their lives.
The northeastern coast in particular has always had a special draw for me, especially the areas around the towns of Artà and Capdepera where we're located. The Mediterranean surrounds us here, offering wonderful views of our neighboring island of Menorca (there's a ferry from Cala Ratjada and from Alcudia) and some of the most spectacular sunrises one can imagine. There are medieval festivals in the castle, hustle and bustle or absolute quiet. Your choice.
